It's a very similarly problem with other country in this world, the nursing career isn't a bad choice for living, get paid-job. I don't know about my choice to be a nurse-or-paramedic, but a friend-in Turkey- an Indonesian nurse worker-told me, that Indonesian Nurse salary is very underpaid. It's true? but I have tried to calculate my salary- as a nurse for about 10 years working, It's only Rp.1,900,000<- or US$ 200 / monthly paid, without any other income.
It's not good enough to pay all my bill, so I must find other job, or take double time-shift, to make sure I can pay all my bill. In this case, I must have to risk my own health, to make other peoples healthier.
Very weird? that's all true!
